How my (week)day generally goes … in case you’re curious what working from home is like. What does your daily schedule look like?
5AM | Alarm goes off for me to wake up. Sometimes I snooze and my body still naturally wakes up around 6AM (unless I’m exhausted from the previous day). If I go to the gym in the morning – I generally try to leave for the gym by 6:30 AM. |
8-11:30AM | Sign on for work…I generally spend the first 15 minutes looking over the day’s schedules and responding to emails. If I didn’t do my timesheet the day before, I also do it at this time (I don’t like to wait until the end of the pay period because then I forget how much time I spent each day on each project). |
10AM | Generally I throw laundry in the wash or dryer in between work things. |
11:30AM | Start prepping for lunch – usually we’ll have leftovers or whatever we can quickly whip up in 30 minutes. |
12-1PM | LUNCH – if you know me, I have a very strict eating schedule. I try to eat lunch at noon everyday. |
1-4PM | Back to work! |
4-5PM | Take a nap or finish up anything I didn’t get to finish that I wanted to complete for work. |
5PM | Prep for dinner |
6PM | Again, I like to eat dinner around 6PM |
7PM | Clean up after dinner |
8-11PM | Catch up on other things: shower, folding laundry if laundry was done that day, prep anything I need for meals the next day, open mail and delivered packages, read, catch up on my drama series, etc. If I go to the gym in the evening, this is the time I usually go. |
11PM | Start falling asleep ….. |
